How to enable banner module in Drupal 5.7?

Sir,
I am developing a website using Drupal 5.7
I have to insert a banner on a page.
For that I downloaded banner module version 4.7 and copied to my Drupal\module
But I am not getting the banner module in
Admionster\sitebuilding\module
Is there any alternative to add this functionality in Drupal 5.7
In short I have to add a banner advertisement on the top of my page.

Banner Module

The banner feature is not one of the easiest things to do in Drupal. I suggest using a third party banner management tool instead or use Joomla for such a concept.
