Polls are a great way to engage visitors on your site and you can also get the opinions of your users. To create your poll, go to Create Content » Polls. Develop an engaging question for your site visitors. You can have your polls appear in select blocks. Ensure that you allow anonymous users to be able to vote to allow visitors, if you haven't already done so. You can set the permissions for anonymous users to be able to vote on polls from Administer » User Management » Access control.
