Google Analytics in Drupal

Google Analytics provides detailed statistics about visitors on your website. Once installed, you can view sources of visitors to your site, their locations, browser configurations, search rankings of your content and more.

If you have come this far you probably have objectives for your site, like leads, visits to certain pages or perhaps sales. You can configure these as goals, and then analyze sources of traffic that give you your goals. With such data you will have increased confidence on your marketing efforts. Google Analytics goals and analysis is a separate topic in itself.

There are other analytics software you can use as well. Google Analytics is great free software and an excellent source of data analysis that I recommend.
